Graham, John Graham

John Graham Graham was born in 1875 in Liverpool to Donald Shaw Graham and Elizabeth Anderson Clint. He married Clara Lucy Tyrwhitt-Drake in Victoria on April 30, 1913. John Graham Graham was the long-time Land Agent for the estate of Sir James Dunsmuir (Hatley Park / Royal Roads). In 1913 he moved into The Belmont, the main gate lodge at Hatley Park. John Graham Graham later lived at 3987 Gordon Head Road (ca. 1942) where he lived for the remainder of his life. John Graham Graham died on July 23, 1970 at the age of 96.

Olive Gray was the daughter of John and Edith Gray of 954 Arundel Drive.

Hastings, Thomas

Thomas Hastings worked for the Edinburgh Police before immigrating to Canada with his wife and children in 1905. He worked for the Victoria Police until 1917 and served with the Dominion Military Police during the First World War before joining the Saanich Police as a constable. Thomas Hastings was appointed Saanich Police Chief in 1925. He died in 1927 and is buried in Royal Oak Burial Park.

George Hearn was a railway historian who researched the history of the Victoria and Sidney Railway.

Holmes, Henry

Henry Holmes was born in Buckinghamshire, England in 1870. He was a nurseryman and operated greenhouses on Burnside Road and Holland Avenue. He had at one time managed the Soldiers' and Sailors' Home in Esquimalt, and had been an active member of the Ward Four Conservative Association. He lived at 1010 Burnside Road West for 52 years and died there on April 7, 1954 at the age of 84.
