Name of creator
Bella Moroz Kisiow worked at the Saanich War Memorial Health Centre in 1941 and 1942. The Saanich War Memorial Health Centre was built by public conscription as a memorial to those who lost their lives in the Great War in the service of their country. It was designed by Karl Branwhite Spurgin and Richard Grenville Rice (who is also the Saanich Honour Roll artist). The Memorial Arch which stood at the entrance of the property was demolished in the 1980s.
Donated in 2001 by Elaine and Karen Kisiow of Winnipeg, daughters of Bella Moroz Kisiow.
