The Cedar Hill New Horizons Seniors Club was established in 1973 when the Cedar Hill Recreation Centre opened. The purpose of the Society was to "provide opportunities for senior citizens, residents in the Saanich Area of Victoria, British Columbia, to lead more meaningful, active, healthy and complete lives, and to provide facilities that will assist in achieving and maintaining the desired objectives." Activities included cards, carpet bowling, bingo, tea, day trips, and socializing. The Club offices were located in the Cedar Hill Recreation Centre. The Club disbanded in 2018.
