Note

Notation" The dark opening above the bus schedule and cigar sign was the first store, 6x12 ft. Sleeping quarters & bunk & kitchen took up very little space. We had quite a assortment of 1 cent candy in the case on counter. This was built in May 19-24 1909. The building with the sword ferns showing was built the later end of July 1909 and used for a tea room, the size 10x14. bon fires on the beach was a must and if the young people cared to dance in the T room it was OK but they removed the tables, music, gramophone"
