Accession consists of 4 photograph albums, some loose photographs, and a number of postcards collected by members of the Nicholson family. Some photographs and postcards relate to the family's life in England, Royal Oak (Saanich) and Sidney BC. Three of the albums belonged to their son Arthur Nevil Nicholson (d. 1917), and those photographs relate to his life as an NWMP officer in Saskatchewan and his visits with his family in BC. Many of the postcards relate to a family named Robinson whose connection to Muriel Nicholson is unkown.

Fonds includes school year books, 1955-1985, from Royal Oak High School, Royal Oak Middle School, Claremont High School, and Mount Newton Junior High. Fonds includes scrapbook of items collected by Emily Underwood during WW2 while her husband Leslie, Sr. was overseas, newspapers and periodical issues.

Fonds consists of records relating to Anne Alice Girling’s photography and to the Girling family of Swan Lake. The fonds includes glass plate and film negatives; photographs; cameras, accessories, drawing, manuals, and photography instructional books (one inscribed by Anne Girling's brothers in 1905 and the other awarded to Annie from Woolwich Polytechnic in 1907). Fonds includes a camera manual for the No. 3 Folding Pocket Kodak 1912 and a photographic print of Alice Mary Girling that was found in one of the books as a bookmark.
