Accession consists of 4 photograph albums, some loose photographs, and a number of postcards collected by members of the Nicholson family. Some photographs and postcards relate to the family's life in England, Royal Oak (Saanich) and Sidney BC. Three of the albums belonged to their son Arthur Nevil Nicholson (d. 1917), and those photographs relate to his life as an NWMP officer in Saskatchewan and his visits with his family in BC. Many of the postcards relate to a family named Robinson whose connection to Muriel Nicholson is unkown.

George Phillips collection

Collection consists of land conveyance documents from 1861 to 1933 for land which was owned by George Phillips, and which is currently the site of Craigflower Elementary School in Saanich (2700 block of Admirals Road). Phillips owned the land from 1900 to 1941. Previous owners of the property include the Puget Sound Agricultural Company, Thomas Russell and Robert Ker.

Collection consists largely of correspondence between 1945 and 1968 from Dr. Harry R. Lillie (d. 1990). Lillie was a Scottish surgeon, anti-whaling and anti-sealing activist, and author of books on conservation. Collection also includes photographs, postcards, greeting cards and news clippings.

Fonds consists chiefly of envelopes, mostly undated, addressed to neighbours of James Munroe Miller (possibly other school trustees). Includes correspondence from C.C. McKenzie, Superintendant of Education, dated 1876 and 1878. Also includes an undated letter from S.D. Pope regarding a position as principal of the high school, and a speech about James Munroe Miller given by his daughter, Laura L. Healy, in 1957.
