Fonds consists of records relating to the Aitkens family of Gordon Head and includes receipts, correspondence, ephemera, a scrapbook, news clippings, publications, photographs, artifacts, and reference and other material. Ephemera includes brochures relating to various centennial celebrations including Canada's Confederation Train, 1967. Fonds includes letters to the Aitkens family from soldiers during the First World War.
