Collection consists of panoramic photographs taken for the test equipment used in fire lookouts in BC for locating forest fires. The procedure was designed by Saanich resident Gerald S Andrews, a Forest Service employee who pioneered the use of aerial photographs in forestry work and later became the Surveyor-General of BC. Includes a booklet containing 8 photographs as well as 14 glass plate negatives.

Fonds consists of film negatives and prints relating to Cadboro Bay and the Cadboro Beach Hotel including photographs of a fire at a tea room.
