Sir Arthur Currie visted Victoria early in October 1919. This is one of two known pictures of Muggins and the general. Probably taken on the steps of the Empress Hotel.

Possibly George Hanes at left, a friend and comrade of General Currie, and an M.L.A. for North Vancouver.
