Date written on photo is 1904 or 1909, but is more likely 1914 based on licence plate.


Mount Tolmie Post Office was located on Cedar Hill Road just south of Cedar Hill Cross Road, in the house of Norman Shaw. The Shaws ran the post office until the Rural Route system was established. All the people from the Gordon Head district picked up their mail at Mount Tolmie Post Office.
