Collection consists of textual records and a small number of maps and plans and includes correspondence between members of the Engineering Department staff and the public, interdepartmental and intradepartmental reports, proposals and petitions.

Fonds consists of Saanich Public Works documents and includes plans, petitions, correspondence and copies of legal documents relating to such topics as subdivisions, road and sidewalk construction, sewers and drainage. Fonds includes a number of photographs relating to Public Works issues.

Collection consists of 3 photographs of the quarry and rock crusher at Christmas Hill taken in 1913, and 15 reproduction photographs from 1890 to 1950.

The majority of the photographs are contained in 3 albums which include photographs of flooding at Panama Flats and other locations; street views; Town & Country Shopping Centre opening day; municipal halls at Glanford, Royal Oak, and Vernon Avenue; and aerial photographs & vistas of the Blenkinsop Valley and other locations.
