Fonds consists of Saanich Public Works documents and includes plans, petitions, correspondence and copies of legal documents relating to such topics as subdivisions, road and sidewalk construction, sewers and drainage. Fonds includes a number of photographs relating to Public Works issues.

Collection consists of glass plate negatives showing an early dairy and beef farm north of Mount Douglas; textual records from the 1930s relating to water agreements between Saanich and Victoria; and a summary of Saanich Police Fund expenditures, 1938.

Collection consists of photographs by Hannah Maynard or Richard Maynard of the Beaver Lake water works and filter beds including construction images.
