Notation "Picture taken outside Jersey Hall before the Watsons moved there. The Layritz nurseries were across the road. Mr. Layritz had one nursery there and another on Wilkinson Road. The road to Jersey Hall was like a cow trail, it was called Ash Road in those days, but later called Barrie Road name coming from the Watson family's connection to James Barrie the author of Peter Pan."
